Castle Menzies, formerly known as Weem Castle, is the ancestral seat of the Clan Menzies. The castle is located to the west of Weem, a small village of near Aberfeldy in the Highlands of Perthshire, Scotland.

Is it a HDR Photo? Or have you done anything special, like changeing the sky, to make it look like this?

Nope, not HDR, this one is right out the box with a touch of Contrast and Sharpening in PS. I was just that sort of day with fluffy clouds and lighting etc.

Love the comosition too, the DoF works really well in this image and the castle has a really strong impact on the viewer. Take a bow for a job well done

Thank you, very much appreciated, and glad you like it.

Just riding by and saw it glittering in the sun and thought - have some of that. It actually had a "closed" sign up as a wedding was taking place. So I just popped in took about 6 shots and popped out again. Like this one the best as it required no work to remove the distracting cars.
